The month of March every year,as we know is celebrated as the international Women’s Day.This year,we are going to present a truly riveting medley of individual empression ,thoughts and rights of women, how to day’s women is viewing the world around them and state of women and their rights world wide.
On 8 march SERAC- Bangladesh along with UN-Habitat, UN-Habitat Youth Advisory Board is organizing a procession on International Women’s Day at Press Club, Dhaka in Bangladesh and open discussion with young people passionate about this issue. It is evident but less talked that women suffer the most from lack of usable public toilets in both urban and rural areas. Our objective is to push the government build safe sanitation facilities for all women in Bangladesh, especially public toilets in the cities. Access to sanitation is about dignity and human rights for women everywhere. The demand is to create public consensus to advocate for this agenda.
