SERAC-Bangladesh has a long history of educating vulnerable and marginalized communities on human rights and its applications in daily life. SERAC started its journey by partnering with Madaripur Legal Aid Association (MLAA) in 1994 and in accomplished a number of successful projects including the Legal Aid support project until 2000, technical support programs including training courses on human rights awareness, Local Justice system for young leaders until 2011.

We have been a regular ally of the UN? Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and we observe different events including the Human Rights Day .

As a member of the Global Forum on Migration and Development, currently we are running a project under this program, called Safe Migration for Bangladeshi Workers project in partnership with BRAC. This project focuses on migration rights awareness among potential workers and refer cases of litigation to concerned authorities. Details can be accessed here.
