The current generation of young people is the focal point for development, social justice, peace and prosperity. They play crucial roles for fostering inclusive and peaceful community, combating extremism and militancy. However most of the violence, conflict, and war pictured youth as the hands of destroying communities, which is havoc for the total structure of social justice and peace.

The United Nations Security Council passed a resolution S/RES/2250(2015) in 2015, recognizing youth for inclusive participation in building sustainable peace. SERAC-Bangladesh believes dialogues among young people will generate consensus for non-violent activism, and exchange knowledge of peaceful cohesive societies.

SERAC-Bangladesh is committed to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions), and we run a project tilted Peace Adda that brings diverse groups of young people to share knowledge, experience, and thoughts around peace, conflict, and tolerance factors.

We regularly organize Peace Adda in the first week of every month if you interested to join the Peace Adda please contact:
