Policy Dialogue on Rights-Respecting Digital Governance in Bangladesh

SERAC-Bangladesh, with support from DDI South Asia, is organizing a Policy Dialogue on Rights-Respecting Digital Governance in Bangladesh on 7 October 2026 in Dhaka, bringing together parliamentarians, policymakers, civil society representatives, digital rights experts, and youth representatives. The dialogue will explore key issues around clarity, proportionality, accountability, public consultation, and meaningful youth and civic participation in digital governance. It will provide a platform to share evidence and grassroots perspectives, strengthen dialogue between policymakers and civil society, and identify practical pathways toward a more inclusive, accountable, safe, and rights-respecting digital environment in Bangladesh.
