SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

SERAC-Bangladesh has been working on implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since these global goals were adopted in 2015. Before that, prioritizing the population pressure on urban areas, SERAC chose to partner with UN-Habitat since 2010 for implementation of urban youth employment generation projects in Mymensingh, Bangladesh.

As a continued activity of SERAC, sustainable urban development has become a core program unit to develop prospective youth led urban solutions for sustainable development of poor and vulnerable people in Bangladesh. SERAC-Bangladesh is an official Associate Partner of the World Urban Campaign  to address global and local needs for urban change and sustainable livelihoods for youth.
