🎨 “The City Through a Child’s Eyes” — Art Exhibition

🎯 Purpose

Our city is our home and the foundation of our shared future.
To celebrate World Cities Day 2025, under the SHIFT project – SERAC-Bangladesh and the Mymensingh Urban Youth Council are jointly hosting a special art exhibition titled “The City Through a Child’s Eyes.”

In this exhibition, children from Mymensingh city will express how they envision a beautiful, safe, and livable city through their artwork.
The goal is to highlight children’s imagination, thoughts, and creativity- inspiring all of us to see our cities through their hopeful and visionary perspectives.

👧 Participants’ Age Groups

  • 5–9 years

  • 10–14 years

🖌️ Theme: “The City Through a Child’s Eyes”

Children are invited to draw how they imagine their ideal city. Some possible ideas include:

🏫 Ideal educational institutions
🚸 Safe and disability-friendly streets
🚍 Traffic-free cityscapes
🏞️ Open parks and playgrounds
💧 Pollution-free rivers and canals
🏥 Accessible healthcare and safety for all
🌳 Clean, green, and humane neighborhoods

Participants are also free to explore any other aspects of urban life in their drawings.
