Today, under the NutriTeens Network initiative by SERAC-Bangladesh, a lively school nutrition campaign titled “Eat Smart, Stay Strong” was held at Amader Pathshala School. The event engaged students aged 13–16 years in an interactive session focused on nutrition awareness, healthy eating habits, and overall well-being.
The session began with discussions on:
The 5 essential nutrients for a balanced diet, Foods for healthy skin and hair, Importance of hydration and water intake, Fun and healthy recipes.
Students enthusiastically participated in the session and an interactive quiz, reinforcing their learning in an engaging and practical way.
As part of the campaign, the team measured students’ weight, height, and BMI and prepared personalized diet charts, guiding them toward a healthier lifestyle. This initiative empowers adolescents to make informed choices about their health from an early age.
The students’ energy and participation made the campaign a great success, highlighting how early nutrition education can shape a healthier and more informed generation.
