In February 2026, SERAC-Bangladesh organized 40 community awareness sessions under the #ISRHRD initiative, engaging youth and community members across Dhaka South and North City Corporations. Sessions were held in multiple locations, including South Badda Rayerbazar, Darussalam road, Bosila Shajahanpur north Korail TNT Colony Kamrangirchor Sohid Faruk road Meradia Lalbag West Vashantek Matbor barir mor Maniknagor Nobodoy Bazar Hajaribag Mirpur-12 ,block-D Demra,chonpara Nandipara, Alu Bazar Duaripara Faydabad Nobinagar Mirpur-12, block-A Bazar para Facilitated by youth volunteers and SBCC officers, the sessions provided essential information on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), fostering dialogue, awareness, and reaching 246 community members.
This initiative, implemented in collaboration with Ipas Bangladesh and supported by Global Affairs Canada through the HealthBridge Foundation of Canada, empowered youth volunteers to act as community educators, promoting informed, inclusive, and proactive communities while strengthening youth leadership in health and rights advocacy.
