On February 24, 2026, SERAC-Bangladesh organized an Exchange and Sharing Meeting with volunteers at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh under the Improving SRHR in Dhaka Project. The event created a vibrant space for volunteers to reflect on their experiences, share learning, and strengthen peer-to-peer knowledge exchange.
The meeting brought together 71 youth volunteers representing 60 wards of Dhaka North and South City Corporations, along with representatives from partner organizations including OGSB, BAPSA, RHSTEP, and Ipas Bangladesh.
The event also celebrated volunteer achievements by recognizing 22 youth volunteers with Best Performer Awards and 32 Champion Awards from the 5th to 8th batches for their outstanding contribution to promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services in their communities.
The event was jointly moderated by Songita Sarker, Program Manager of SERAC-Bangladesh, and Kakoli Akter, SBCC Officer. Other key team members present included Riyad Hossain, Sumaiya Akter, Md. Tahmid Hossain, and Sumaia Akter, who ensured the meeting’s smooth execution. This exchange-sharing meeting not only acknowledged the vital contributions of volunteers but also reinforced their commitment to advancing SRHR services. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, the event served as a cornerstone for building stronger, more informed community leaders dedicated to creating lasting change.
