World Cities Day 2026: Building a Cleaner City Together

SERAC-Bangladesh, in collaboration with Khulna City Corporation and the Bangladesh Urban Youth Councils Network, will observe World Cities Day 2026 in Khulna under the theme “Building a Cleaner City Together.”

As part of the campaign, dedicated young people from Khulna City Corporation will come together to take part in a city cleaning initiative, covering the road from Rupsha Mor to Natun Bazar. The campaign aims to encourage young people and citizens to take collective responsibility for creating cleaner, healthier, and more liveable urban spaces.

The Administrator of Khulna City Corporation will attend the event as the Chief Guest and will formally inaugurate the campaign.

Through this initiative, SERAC-Bangladesh aims to celebrate youth leadership and promote meaningful citizen participation in building a cleaner and better city for everyone.
