Youth volunteers organized five free GP promotional health camps from 8 January to 12 January 2026 in Rayerbazar, Boraikhaili (South Badda), West Vashantek, Nandipara, and Hazaribag. With support from dedicated General Practitioners, the camps aimed to increase community awareness and improve access to essential Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, including family planning and contraception, for communities with limited access to accurate health information.
To mobilize participation, youth volunteers conducted miking, interactive community sessions, and door-to-door outreach, sharing key messages on SRHR and informed health decision-making. The camps provided direct services to more than 270 community members, offering counseling, information, and immediate support. This initiative strengthened community trust and demonstrated the strong impact of youth leadership in expanding SRHR access in Dhaka.
The activity was implemented under the #ISRHRD project, in collaboration with #IpasBangladesh and funded by #GlobalAffairsCanada through the #HealthBridgeFoundation, highlighting how youth-led programs can effectively promote awareness and build healthier, empowered communities.
