A promising new chapter in child development and creative learning has begun with the official launch of DreamWings (স্বপ্নডানা), an inspiring initiative by SERAC-Bangladesh aimed at unlocking the hidden potential of underprivileged children. The inauguration took place on March 30, 2026, at Nizamuddin Memorial Pre-School, marking a meaningful step toward inclusive and joyful education.
The event was attended by SM Shaikat, Executive Director of SERAC-Bangladesh, along with directors of the organization and a vibrant team of youth representatives. Their presence reflected a strong commitment to empowering young minds and fostering a supportive learning environment.
One of the most engaging segments of the event was the interactive session titled “Dream Chat.” During this session, children were encouraged to reflect on their dreams, both literal and aspirational. By asking simple yet thought-provoking questions, SM Shaikat inspired the children to express themselves freely and to cultivate the confidence to share their dreams with teachers in future classes. This approach not only nurtured imagination but also reinforced self-belief at an early age.
Adding to the excitement, the program featured an edutainment segment designed to blend learning with enjoyment. Children watched the widely loved Meena cartoon and popular rhymes like “Mamar Bari.” Through these familiar and engaging visuals, important lessons on personal hygiene and healthy habits were communicated effectively.
