In Bangladesh, 16 million people are experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity, while 1.6 million children are suffering from acute malnutrition. Addressing these pressing challenges requires informed, skilled, and committed young leaders.

To contribute to this national effort, SERAC-Bangladesh, with the support of SUN Youth Network Bangladesh, is organizing the Food Systems Youth Leadership Training (FoSYLx)—a 3-day intensive online training program designed to equip the next generation of youth leaders with the knowledge, leadership, and advocacy skills needed to transform food systems.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, the training will strengthen participants’ understanding of food systems, nutrition, sustainable food practices, and youth-led advocacy. Participants will also develop practical leadership skills to design and implement impactful Community Action Projects, contributing to improved nutrition and food security within their communities.
