Executive Director of SERAC-Bangladesh SM Shaikat met the Honorable Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation, Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, in his office this afternoon.

The two discussed the start of the Urban Youth Council in the city of Chattogram, to be implemented by SERAC-Bangladesh in partnership with the United Nations Democracy Fund and UN-Habitat. The Mayor appreciated the initiative and assured his full support. SERAC-Bangladesh divisional coordinator Arshi Irtiza, deputy coordinator Dibbo Das, journalist of Bangladesh Times Jawad Hossain, and SERAC general member Siraj Uddin were present on this occasion.
