Strong organizations are built through reflection, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future. Recognizing the importance of strategic planning in driving sustainable impact, SERAC-Bangladesh successfully organized its Organizational Strategic Planning and Review Workshop on 13–14 June 2026 in Savar under the Space to Lead Project.
The two-day workshop was organized by SERAC-Bangladesh with technical support from Plan International Bangladesh and financial support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The event served as an important platform for reviewing organizational progress, strengthening institutional capacity, and shaping the strategic priorities that will guide SERAC-Bangladesh in the years ahead.
Bringing together members of the Executive Committee (EC), General Committee (GC), the Chairman, Executive Director, Treasurer, staff members, and key stakeholders, the workshop fostered meaningful dialogue on the organization’s journey, achievements, challenges, and future aspirations. Participants engaged in thoughtful discussions that encouraged collective reflection on past experiences while identifying opportunities for continued growth and innovation.
Throughout the workshop, participants took part in interactive sessions, collaborative planning exercises, and strategic discussions designed to assess organizational priorities and strengthen institutional effectiveness. The exchange of diverse perspectives and expertise helped create a shared understanding of emerging opportunities and challenges, while contributing to the development of a forward-looking strategic framework aligned with SERAC-Bangladesh’s long-term vision.
The workshop reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to enhancing program quality, improving organizational systems, and expanding its impact through evidence-based planning and collaborative leadership. It also highlighted the importance of adaptive management, strong governance, and continuous learning in responding to evolving social and development challenges.
As SERAC-Bangladesh continues its mission to promote justice, equality, human rights, and social inclusion, the outcomes of this workshop will help guide the organization toward more strategic, effective, and sustainable interventions. By strengthening institutional resilience and reinforcing a culture of collaboration and accountability, the organization is better positioned to respond to the needs of communities and create lasting social change.
