SERAC-Bangladesh organized 88 community-based outreach sessions in Mymensingh and Netrokona to mobilize the community with quality SRH knowledge and services. The sessions covered important topics, including SRHR, GBV, Child Marriage, FP, MR, PAC, 10% bed services, health facility information, and emergency help numbers. The sessions were conducted by service providers from local health facilities.
During the outreach, service provider referral cards and IEC materials were distributed, and participants were encouraged to download the “Health Stairs” mobile application. A total of 3661 community members attended the sessions, with 3409 females and 272 males participating across campaigns. Pre-and post-feedback were collected from participants to evaluate the impact of the sessions.
These community are supported by SAAF and implemented under the Access to SRHR for Young Women project.
