From February 3-5, SERAC-Bangladesh initiated The Skill Building Workshop on Sustainability of Access to SRHR for Young Women supported by SAAF. The workshop focused on developing a strategic action plan to address policy-driven challenges and ensure the continuity of accessible healthcare services.
The sessions aimed to enhance the expertise of staff, enabling them to engage effectively with policymakers, partners, and stakeholders. By empowering the team with the necessary skills and knowledge, the workshop sought to improve their capacity to advocate for SRHR issues and ensure the sustainability of SRHR services for young women.
An important component of the workshop was providing valuable insights into shifts in U.S. foreign policy and how these changes could impact ongoing work in SRHR. This was crucial for adapting strategies and ensuring that the project remains resilient and proactive in addressing emerging challenges.
This workshop was a significant step toward ensuring that the Access to SRHR for Young Women project remains sustainable, adaptable, and impactful, ultimately improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young women in the region.
