The Youth Coalition for Climate Justice (YCCJ) is a dynamic, youth-led coalition established in 2013, working to empower young people to take collective action for climate justice, environmental sustainability, and a more equitable and resilient future.

Led by SERAC-Bangladesh, YCCJ brings together young changemakers from across Bangladesh to amplify youth voices and strengthen meaningful youth participation in addressing climate and environmental challenges. Recognizing that climate change disproportionately affects vulnerable and marginalized communities, YCCJ works to ensure that young people are empowered to advocate for climate justice and intergenerational equity.

Through advocacy, awareness-raising, grassroots mobilization, workshops, capacity-building, and collective action, YCCJ provides young people with the knowledge, skills, and platforms needed to become effective agents of change. The coalition also promotes inclusive decision-making and fosters partnerships and alliances with local and international organizations to strengthen the youth climate movement.

YCCJ envisions a future where young people play a leading role in shaping sustainable and equitable policies and solutions. By mobilizing and empowering youth, YCCJ aims to build a stronger, more inclusive movement for climate justice and create meaningful change for present and future generations.
