In the speech of the chief guest, Mr. Niazur Rahman, Divisional Director of Family Planning, Barishal Division stated that collaboration between government and non-governmental organizations is crucial in creating family planning and reproductive health awareness among adolescents. He emphasized the importance of using regional language, such as folk songs, street theater, or storytelling, as effective means of communication rather than formal speeches and general discussions. Through such content, the topics of adolescent and reproductive health can be easily presented to the people in a simple and understandable language. He expressed hope that the initiative taken by SERAC-Bangladesh, prioritizing regional language, will accelerate awareness creation by reaching information to the youth of all regions.
