SERAC-Bangladesh in collaboration with Ipas Bangladesh has organized a two days long Social Media workshop on 24th and 25th June, 2023 about content analysis and message drafting for social media handles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) that are developed under Improving SRHR in Dhaka project. The content includes the area of sexual and reproductive health especially focusing on adolescent health and hygiene, family planning (FP), menstrual regulation (MR), post abortion care (PAC) and sexual and gender based violence (SGBV). The workshop was organized with an objective of how to develop and spread right information on SRHR in an easily understandable way
within our community through social media.
First day was based on content analysis by discussing the current scenario of SRHR in Bangladesh, Project’s focused area, Project’s objectives and role of Projonon Sastho Bandhu. On the Second day, the participants were assigned in groups to draft messages for 1 month and then presented for overall feedback and finalization.
10 Projonon Sastho Bandhu (volunteers) joined the concentrated social media working group and participated in this workshop. Staff from partner organizations BAPSA, RHSTEP, OGSB and Ipas Bangladesh have also participated in this workshop to have an effective outcome.
