on 17th September’2024, SERAC-Bangladesh, in collaboration with SAAF, organized the first six-monthly coordination meeting in Netrokona under Access to SRHR for Young Women project. The meeting was held in presence of the Executive Director of SERAC-Bangladesh, SM Shaikat; the Deputy Director of the District Family Planning Office, Netrokona; Md. Muniruzzaman Khan; Assistant Director, Dr. Md. Feroj Khan Pathan; Deputy Director of SERAC-Bangladesh, Md. Salim Miah and Family Planning Officer, Mohammad Shahidul Islam, alongside medical officers, family welfare visitors, nurses, physicians, and directors from eight government and private health centers in Netrokona Sadar Upazila.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the monthly data collected from the health centers, discussed data monitoring practices, and outlined steps to enhance service quality. The honourable guests and participants also provided recommendations for awareness-raising outreach activities in the community through the project.
This collaborative effort aims to strengthen reproductive health services and awareness in the region, contributing significantly to the overall well-being of the community.
