SERAC is conducting a school-based campaign at 30 secondary schools within the Dhaka North and South City Corporation areas under the Improving SRHR in Dhaka project. Each school is hosting a discussion session on adolescent health, menstrual health, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), followed by a quiz competition for students in grades 8, 9 and 10. Each session accommodates 40 students. The event is coordinated by the respective area peer group mentor, who liaises with school authorities, while the main session is led by an SBCC officer from the project. Till today, 1,571 adolescents from 30 schools have been reached to provide information on SRHR and SGBV. The objectives of the school campaigns are:
