SERAC-Bangladesh’s Executive Director SM Shaikat called on the Honorable Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation Md. Mostafizur Rahman, at his office this afternoon.
The two discussed the start of the Urban Youth Council in the city of Rangpur, to be implemented by SERAC-Bangladesh in partnership with the United Nations Democracy Fund and UN-Habitat. The Mayor appreciated the initiative and assured his full support.
SERAC-Bangladesh’s Rangpur Divisional Coordinator Apurba Krishna Roy, Deputy Divisional Coordinator Tithi Mojumder, Divisional member Md. Sazu Mia, Rownak Jahan Khushi, Arno Ghosh and city corporation officials were present among others on this occasion.
