A successful mission of the 7th Asian and Pacific Population Conference 2023 was accomplished at UNESCAP in Bangkok. SERAC-Bangladesh team led by Executive Director SM Shaikat, and Senior Program Officer Nusrat Sharmin Resma joined the Bangladesh state delegation in preparing the country statement and assisted the state delegation in the proceedings to highlight country achievements, and milestones ahead.
SERAC Executive Director SM Shaikat acted as the drafting committee member of the CSO & youth statement of the APPC7, while our Senior Program Officer Nusrat Sharmin Resma delivered the youth statement at the conference at UN ESCAP.
The mission was supported by UNFPA and UNESCAP.
