SERAC-Bangladesh, under the Youth Catalyst Project supported by UNFPA and funded by Sida, is organizing the Healthcare Providers’ Capacity-Building Workshop on Integrating Climate Resilience into SRHR and Family Planning Services on 6th November 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in Noakhali.
The workshop will bring together midwives, nurses, and other frontline healthcare providers, alongside representatives from DGFP and DGHS, to strengthen their capacity to sustain sexual and reproductive health (SRHR) and family planning services amid climate-related disruptions. Participants will engage in interactive presentations, group discussions, scenario-based simulations, and participatory mapping to identify local challenges and develop climate-adaptive solutions for their facilities.
By capturing on-the-ground experiences and practical recommendations, the workshop aims to contribute directly to the upcoming National White Paper on Climate Change and Health. This initiative reinforces the commitment to ensuring that frontline health workers’ voices and experiences inform national strategies—building a more inclusive, equitable, and climate-resilient health system across Bangladesh.
