The Procheshtha project is targeting 1500 school going youth and adolescents to develop their knowledge with innovative games on local level advocacy to combat child marriage. This will enable the young people to decide on child marriage issues, and their knowledge will provoke them to become advocates in their communities to stop such cases. These will also teach youths about how to stop child marriage with simple steps of advocacy, information and communication means by reaching authorities and change community behavior.

The project is being implemented in 4(four) sub-districts (Sadar, Trishal, Muktagacha and Gauripur) of Mymensingh district since January-2020 and scheduled to finish in June-2021 with a grant from AmplifyChange, jointly contributed by the Governments of Norway, Denmark, The UK, and The Netherlands, the David and Lucie Packard Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Viiv Foundation.
