On August 24, 2025, SERAC-Bangladesh organized a remarkable Peace Adda in Chittagong, bringing together youth from different parts of the city. The central theme of the discussion was preventing mob violence.
During the session, young participants shared their personal experiences and reflected on their vital role in building safer and more peaceful communities. They discussed how mob violence not only harms individuals but also damages entire communities. The youth also expressed their commitment to take initiatives that will help raise awareness and prevent such violence in the future.
From this initiative, the Chittagong Peace Building Group was formed under youth leadership. The group aims to promote tolerance, ensure safety, and foster peaceful coexistence in society. SERAC-Bangladesh believes that through youth participation and leadership, it is possible to build a just, inclusive, and resilient community.
