On 18 to 25 September 2025, SERAC-Bangladesh successfully organized 40 community awareness sessions under the #ISRHRD initiative, engaging youth and community members across Dhaka South and North City Corporations, including locations such as Shipahibagh Tempu Stand, Abu Sayed Bazar, Kamrangirchor, Darus Salam, Bazar Para, Sher-e-Bangla Katasur, Baroikhali, Bosila, Madertake, Mohakhali Madrasha Market, Anandabazar, Uttara Sector-11, Faydabad, Shohid Faruq Road, Vatara, Rupnagor Abashik Road-16, Paikpara, Maniknagor, Dholpur, Nobinagor, Lalbagh, Alu Bazar, Gulbagh, Kochukhet, Chonpara (Demra), and Mirpur-11. Facilitated by youth volunteers and SBCC officers, the sessions provided essential information on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), fostering dialogue, awareness, and community engagement. This initiative, delivered in collaboration with Ipas Bangladesh and supported by Global Affairs Canada through the HealthBridge Foundation of Canada, empowered youth volunteers to act as community educators, promoting informed, inclusive, and proactive communities while strengthening youth leadership in health and rights advocacy.
