Empowering Youth for Climate-Resilient SRHR Advocacy in Chandpur

SERAC-Bangladesh, under the Youth Catalyst initiative of UNFPA Bangladesh with support from Sida, organized a youth-focused workshop in Chandpur to enhance understanding of the intersection between sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and climate resilience.
Through interactive learning, hands-on photography training, and Photo Voice activities, young participants explored how climate change impacts SRHR and developed advocacy skills to amplify community perspectives.
The workshop featured sessions on climate–SRHR linkages, storytelling through photography, ethical field documentation, and practical group exercises.
The sessions were facilitated by Md. Nazmul Hasan, Innovation and Youth Specialist, SERAC-Bangladesh, with a technical photography session conducted by Md. Fahim Rahman, Founder of Visuals Production.
The session was supported by Md. Najmul Islam, Finance Associate, SERAC-Bangladesh.
Together, the initiative aims to empower young people to engage in climate-aware SRHR advocacy and contribute to building resilient communities.
