Adolescent health is deeply shaped by everyday food choices—often in ways that remain overlooked or misunderstood. Addressing this critical issue, the session “From Undernutrition to Underrated: Why Youth Health Starts on the Plate” created a meaningful space for young people to explore how nutrition influences not only physical health, but also confidence, well-being, and long-term potential.
The session offered a fresh and practical perspective on adolescent nutrition, highlighting affordable and realistic dietary choices suitable for everyday life. Through expert-led discussions and an engaging quiz competition, participants were encouraged to rethink common myths surrounding food and nutrition, while learning simple strategies to develop healthier eating habits.
The discussion was led by a panel of distinguished nutrition professionals:

  • Naima Rubi, Media Secretary, Pushtibid Foundation

  • Amina Shahnaj Hashmi, Nutritionist & Diet Consultant, New Peacy Lab Ltd., and Organising Secretary, Pushtibid Foundation
