On May 20, 2025, SERAC-Bangladesh will launch the Youth Catalyst Project alongside the National Youth Advocacy Initiatives, uniting government officials, youth leaders, and development partners to promote inclusive, youth-led advocacy in SRHR and climate resilience.
The event will feature interactive youth-led discussions, high-level presentations, and policy dialogues. A key outcome will be the development of a National Youth White Paper, capturing the voices and policy demands of young people from both mainstream and marginalized communities.
The initiative introduces two national advocacy platforms—Bangladesh Youth Health Action Network (BYHAN) and the Youth Coalition for Climate Justice (YCCJ)—designed to empower young people to shape health and climate policies. These platforms align with key national strategies, including the Family Planning Strategic Plan, Adolescent Health Strategy, and the National Adaptation Plan.
This milestone reflects a paradigm shift—recognizing youth as beneficiaries and as catalysts for systemic change, driving toward a more just, inclusive, and climate-resilient Bangladesh.
