As part of the Youth Catalyst Project of UNFPA, funded by SIDA and implemented by SERAC-Bangladesh—this workshop aims to develop a comprehensive, rights-based, and inclusive national questionnaire on adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The initiative seeks to capture the lived experiences of adolescents, particularly those from marginalized communities such as slum areas, disaster-prone regions,
adolescents with disabilities, and those engaged in child labor or early marriage and sex workers.
The workshop will convene representatives from government ministries, UN agencies, civil society, and youth networks to co-create contextually appropriate questions that explore SRHR knowledge, service access, and structural barriers. Through participatory group work and expert
facilitation, the workshop’s outcomes will inform future data collection, policy discussions, and adolescent-responsive program design to improve health outcomes across Bangladesh.
