MHM Day Celebration “Health Camp” by SERAC-Bangladesh

SERAC-Bangladesh collaborated with Ipas Bangladesh under the “Improving SRHR in Dhaka Project,” successfully executed MHM Day Celebration 2025 through Knowledge dissemination through CAGs, Miking at targeted areas, Sticker Camping at targeted communities and focused “Health Camp”. This initiative was a direct effort to boost health access and rights within various communities across Dhaka. The campaign was supported by  Global Affairs Canada through the HealthBridge Foundation of Canada.

The campaign’s outreach was substantial, engaging a remarkable 387 participants. These participants included a diverse group of stakeholders crucial to community well-being: 45 participating volunteers, Community Youth Leaders, Community Service Receivers 293, Pharmacists, 5 General Practitioners, 4 Peer Educators. The Miking highlights a collaborative approach to community engagement. The core content of the activity addressed several crucial areas of Sexual and gender-based violence. Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Social Stigma reduction.

The activities, categorized as a “Health Campaign” took place across numerous key locations in Dhaka, ensuring a wide community reach: Islambag, Lalbag, Shipahibag Bazar, Kashmir Tola, Jonalmarket, Azampur Kaca Bazar, Faydabad, Dokkhinkhan, KamarparaKatasur, Shemoli Housing, Mohammadpur Housing, Paikpara, Kollanpur Pora Bosti (Road-1, Road-2, Road-3), Kallanpur Notun Bazar. This comprehensive campaign highlights SERAC-Bangladesh’s dedication to community engagement and direct interaction, delivering essential health information and services where they are most needed. The success of such targeted initiatives is fundamental to advancing health, access, and rights for all individuals within the communities they serve.
