SERAC-Bangladesh hosted an AFP SMART Advocacy Approach Workshop in Gazipur during January 23-25, 2022 with the support from Marie Stopes Bangladesh. District family planning working group members from Mymensingh, Netrokona, and Kishoreganj participated in the two days long workshop and designed their workplan to ensure adequate budget allocation for family planning programs in their respective districts.
The workshop ended successfully with the presentation of the workplan by each of the district working groups. The event was facilitated by Monjun Nahar, Lead Advocacy and Communication of Marie Stopes Bangladesh, and SERAC-Bangladesh Executive Director SM Shaikat. Co-facilitators included Md. Salim Miah, Assistant Director (Program), Associate Program Officer Md. Shafiullah, Program Associates Salma Akter, and Apurba Krishna Roy.
