In October 2025, SERAC-Bangladesh organized 25 school campaigns to promote SRHR among adolescents. These campaigns were conducted Badda Nagor, Hajaribagh Chata Mosque, Hajaribagh Wasa Road, Maniknagor, Duaripara Mosque Market, Bosila, Borhanpur (Hajaribagh), Kazi Alauddin Road, Senpara, Kamrangirchor, Badda, Mohakhali Madrasha Market, Ashkona, Mirpur-10 (Block-C), Bazarpara Gabtoli, Nabinagar (Mohammadpur), Madina Chattor (Matuil), Nobodoy Bazar, Pakuriya, Mir Hajirbagh Kacha Bazar, Vashantak, Mohakhali, Madertake, and Badda.
The campaigns reached a total of 1,256 adolescents, teachers, and school authorities. Sessions were facilitated by trained youth volunteers, mentors, and general practitioners (GPs), focusing on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Adolescent Health.
A variety of SBCC materials were used to make the sessions interactive and engaging. Sanitary pads were distributed among adolescent girls to promote positive menstrual hygiene practices, while scales, water bottles, key rings, and OGSB Call Center stickers were provided to increase access to health information. To reinforce learning, quizzes were organized, and souvenirs were awarded to winners as encouragement.
SBCC officers and Youth mentors ensured the smooth implementation of the campaigns, and their collective efforts helped reduce stigma, enhance adolescent knowledge, and strengthen school–community collaboration on SRHR.
