Urban Action: The Sticker Campaign Battling Dengue

In a joint initiative by SERAC-Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Urban Youth Council Network, a comprehensive dengue prevention awareness campaign has been launched nationwide to combat the growing threat of dengue fever.

The campaign focuses on increasing public awareness about preventive measures against dengue through a variety of activities. One of the flagship programs is a sticker campaign that is being conducted in every ward of six major city corporations: Dhaka North, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, and Narayanganj.

Volunteers and community workers will go door-to-door, distributing stickers and sharing vital instructions on how residents can protect themselves and their families from dengue. These stickers serve as constant reminders of the simple yet crucial steps that can prevent mosquito breeding and reduce the risk of infection.

Dengue prevention is a collective responsibility. When everyone takes part actively, we can build a safer, healthier, and more secure urban future for our cities.

Be aware, stay vigilant, and protect your family and community from dengue. Together, we can make a difference!
