On 26 December 2025, a collaborative initiative was launched in Narayanganj by the Narayanganj Urban Youth Council, SERAC-Bangladesh, Narayanganj City Corporation, and the Bangladesh Urban Youth Council Network to combat dengue fever through youth participation.
The campaign included awareness drives, focused discussion sessions, public outreach, and mosquito control activities. A key part of the effort was educating residents on the importance of eliminating stagnant water within three days to prevent mosquito breeding.
Additionally, informative dengue prevention stickers were distributed and placed throughout the city to remind people about essential protective measures.
This collective action by the youth and partner organizations marks a significant step toward a healthier and dengue-free Narayanganj.
