Youth Share-Net Project
The Youth Share-Net Project is a strategic collaborative initiative implemented by SERAC-Bangladesh partnering with RedOrange and funded by AmplifyChange. The project shifts the focus from general awareness-raising to evidence-based advocacy to transform the landscape of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh. At its core, the initiative empowers youths and youth-led organizations to become key players in national policy dialogues related to health and SRHR specially for the youth. Through the commissioning of youth-led research, policy analysis, and position papers, the project ensures that advocacy is grounded in rigorous data and the real world experiences of young people rather than assumptions.
The Youth Share-Net Project is a multi-year initiative designed to build a stronger, more connected movement for SRHR in Bangladesh. The project is building a robust ecosystem for change through the establishment of a localized Youth and SRHR Network and an active Community of Practice (CoP).
Key mechanisms include the Annual Youth & SRHR Conference (Knowledge Fair) Active Collaboration Labs, and regular stakeholder meetings provide structured platforms for deliberate dialogue between grassroots activists, government officials, and service providers. By equipping youth organizations with the technical capacity to generate knowledge and campaigns, the Youth Share-Net Project aims to reach over 100,000 individuals significantly reduce social stigma and institutionalize lasting partnerships between the youth and national policymakers.
