Divisional Consultation on post-2015 on HIV/AIDS affected Youth in Mymensingh
SERAC-Bangladesh launched a project titled “Can You Hear Me?” with the support from?the International Planned Parenthood Federation, through a divisional consultation with young key population groups and general youth on Post-2015 agenda and national advocacy plan in Mymensingh on July 28, 2015.
20 young key people affected by HIV/AIDS including young sex workers, transgender, injecting drug user, MSM persons and general youth. The sub-district Family Planning officer Mahfuzul Karim attended the consultation and provided inputs alongside the participants. They discussed about their rights, needs, gaps, and what need to be done regarding the national level programs to address these gaps.
SERAC-Bangladesh officials including its Executive Director S M Shaikat, Program Director Shahina Yasmin, Assistant Director (program) Pulak Roy, Program Manager Oli Ahad, Program Officer Fatema Khatun, Barkat ullah Bhuiyan, and Sabilatul Jannat Shamoly coordinated the event.
