The divisional policy advocacy consultation in Rajshahi with youth on SDGs implementation and inclusion of HIV/AIDS affected youth voices to the 7th five years plan was held a local meeting venue in Rajshahi on December 2, 2015 with the support from the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
25 young key people from female sex workers, MSM, injecting drug users, transgenders, and general youth took part in the consultation and shared their opinions regarding SDGs goals 3 & 5, and how the 7th five years national plan could allocate spaces for these populations at every stage of implementation.
The workshop was co-facilitated by SERAC-Bangladesh?s Assistant Director Pulak Kanti Roy, Assistant Program Officer Jisan Mahmud, while Social Welfare officer Wahida Parvin,? official of BUK Hasinur Rahman, and SERAC-Bangladesh’s local partner organization Projonmo Manobik Odhikar Unnayan Kendra Executive Director Md. Abdur Rahman Rizvi was also present at that occasion.
