Peace Adda with Youth Leaders

Peace Adda, a monthly meet-up was arranged on June 21, 2020, with 28 diversified young people to share their thoughts, knowledge, and opinions around peace, conflict, tolerance, ice theory, and religious factors align with their commitment to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions). The meet-up was conducted virtually where Ananda Kumar Biswas, Development Officer of SERAC-Bangladesh facilitated the session, and SM Shaikat, Executive Director of SERAC-Bangladesh chaired and added a statement of the specific objectives of the meet-up.
This created stimulation on debating and consenting of non-violent activism and exchanging comprehensive and mutual understanding of peaceful cohesive communities. Moreover, it highlighted
young digital media conflict, religious points of view connecting to current devout status, and spiritual concept. The discussion also discovered the essence and relevance of UN Sustainable Development Goal
16 in a roundabout way, such as social media platforms’ effectiveness, non-judgmental transformation on surrounding extremism, harassment, conflict and other kinds of exploitation cases.
