‘Peace Adda’ is a unique project of SERAC-Bangladesh to accelerate peace, human rights, thought leadership, and to promote cohesion among youths turning them into #PeaceBuilders.
Today the #PeaceBuilders unit of Mymensingh hosted a vibrant discussion with university students from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University in Trishal engaging them in an opinion exchange around recent issues concerning youth around the country.
The participants engaged in a dialogue on the recent advancement of transgender, hijra, and sexuality education curriculum and expressed their concerns on the rise of hate speech, and restricting human rights of marginalized hijra population in the country
SERAC-Bangladesh Executive Director SM Shaikat, Communication and Outreach Officer Mizanur Rahman Akanda, Program Officer Songita Sarker, were also present on this ocassion.
