SERAC Bangladesh organized the 2nd and 3rd batch Orientation Workshop for community action groups (CAG) of Mogbazar and Basabo on 24 May 2022 (9:00 am- 5:00 pm). This was the second and third batch of orientation, collaboration with IPAS Bangladesh and other partners under the Improving SRHR in Dhaka project, where 20 volunteers participated. The orientation was organized in Maniknagar Royal village restaurant, Dhaka with facilitators from SERAC-Bangladesh, Ipas Bangladesh, and OGSB. The project was funded by Global Affairs Canada and technically supported by the HealthBridge Foundation of Canada.
The training aimed to orient the community action group on the project objectives, target people, project management, area, and knowledge about family planning, MR, and PAC. Also, Humanity and Health Hygiene, SGBV, VCAT, Effective communication, Networking, and the use of social media are also the main topics of the orientation. All the participants were spontaneous throughout these sessions. After the training session, all the participants were motivated and expressed their determination to spread these learnings to their respected community. They also made a work plan throughout the project time period with their peers.
