The program began with an opening address by the SERAC-Bangladesh Executive Director SM Shaikat, highlighting the significance of the Urban Youth Council in providing a platform for the city’s youth to actively participate in civic affairs, and Associate Program Officer Lutfa Pathan presented a slide show with additional overview of the project. Distinguished guest speakers, including local leaders and influencers, shared inspiring insights on the potential impact of the council on Mymensingh’s development.

A key feature of the launch event was the unveiling of the Urban Youth Council’s mission, objectives, and the organizational structure.
